Joined GMH as an Allocation Clerk in 1966 and retired in December 1999 as 2IC to the Director of Marketing, along the way serving as State Manager in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MG Car Club Foundation Concept.<\/span><\/p><p>I noticed an advertisement in the \u2018Seniors\u2019 newspaper for the Scouts Association soliciting bequests, and I thought that this would be a good idea to pursue within the MGCC.<\/p><p>I approached one or two older members and the idea blossomed under the leadership of David Hutchings.
