I have formed many friendships with great likeminded people. Having a grounding in\ncars growing up with a mechanic father I soon knew my way around cars. A selection of early\ninfluences were Mercedes, Alfas, Austins, Humbers Fords, Holdens and of course MG's. I was proud\nof my first MG purchase, a L967 MGB in 1992 which I still have.\nAfter studying accounting my early working life was in several fields including the printing industry\nand transport. I have been involved in the Audio-Visual industry since 1994 after purchasing an AV\nHire business. As a result, I have been part of the analogue to digital transition now a central part of\nmodern day life.\nShortly after joining the MGCC I was approached to assist with the AV in the new auditorium and to\njoin the competition committee. My involvement within the club grew to become Officials Register\ncaptain and then Competitors Register captain. I enjoy the fun and camaraderie of club competition\nand using my MGB for what it was designed to do.\nI believe in supporting the club that supported my family and I as new members.
